Introduction to Climbing

Nothing beats the brisk feeling of the wind on your face, or the sun on your back as you potter, pull, and press up the impressively imposing cliff faces that scatter our mountainous island. This course will set you up well to get out with others more experienced, or bridge the gap into joining a club.

Learn to Lead Course

It's time to upskill and put yourself on the sharp end of the rope. Whilst seconding routes entails its own enjoyment and excitment, removing the comfort of a tight top rope will thrust you into a more daring advernture with your heart racing. This course will bring you into the fold of lead climbing and provide you with the skills to keep yourself safe and calm whilst you battle up the crag, forging a line for your partner.

Multipitch Climbing Skills

Sometimes one pitch just doesn't cut it. Whether it is the commitment of a many-pitched route, or the need to journey high up through the lofty mountain crags, this multipitch climbing course will cover aspects needed to advance higher than the cosy valley crags, opening up access to the most vast amount of rock and exposure.

Sea Cliff Climbing Skills

Fancy an alternative coastal day to the beach? Drop yourself into the base of a glorious sea cliff and cruise your way back up. This course will equip you to approach the many exciting sea cliffs on our island with confidence, abseil in - often with full commitment - and get yourself back up tackling some impressive lines.

Self-Rescue Skills

Had a few close calls? Noticed that your 5G is a bit hit or miss whilst trying to upload a reel on the crag? Climbing with people that look up to you? Perhaps it's time to get a few rescue tools in the box to give you more peace of mind when you see the rain clouds loom towards you as you start another pitch. This course will give you a showcase of tools and strategies you can use to help ensure a safe day on the crag.
